{"id":2967,"date":"2008-10-30T00:15:00","date_gmt":"2008-10-30T00:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/estreia.pt\/?page_id=2967"},"modified":"2024-07-15T18:10:46","modified_gmt":"2024-07-15T18:10:46","slug":"sim-cafe-website","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/estreia.pt\/en\/portfolio\/web-design-portfolio\/archived-web-design\/sim-cafe-website\/","title":{"rendered":"SIM CAFE website"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Web design for a Coffee Factory<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Web design for coffee factory in Macau<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong style=\"background-color: #ffb400;\">Note<\/strong>&nbsp;This project is from 2008 and&nbsp;it\u2019s not available online anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Client<\/strong>&nbsp;SIM &#8211; Sociedade Industrial de Macau<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mission<\/strong>&nbsp;To design the website of this coffee factory in Macao, China, in order to communicate their services and expertise globally, and raise contacts from potential clients and collaborators.<br>The pages should be produced in English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Solution<\/strong>&nbsp;ESTREIA designed SIM\u2019s webpages with the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Communication concept addressed to an audience composed of global importers, traders and coffee brands. This concept was reinforced with a Flash animation at the home page;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Focus on the modern facilities and equipment, with sequences of images;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good usability achieved using a structure of content easy to grasp, and several navigation aids;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Content was inserted in 3 different languages: english, traditional and simplified chinese;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Website was connected to a back-office, so that the client can easily update its content;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A statistics service was configured in order to send scheduled reports to the client, with predefined goals and metrics;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/estreia.pt\/en\/services\/search-engine-optimization\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2715\">Search engine optimization<\/a> and submission to major portals and directories was done.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"170\" height=\"60\" title=\"Google Analytics\" class=\"wp-image-1551\" style=\"width: 170px;\" src=\"https:\/\/estreia.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/selo_analytics.jpg\" alt=\"Google Analytics\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"122\" height=\"60\" title=\"Google Maps\" class=\"wp-image-1553\" style=\"width: 122px;\" src=\"https:\/\/estreia.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/selo_gmaps.jpg\" alt=\"Google Maps\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"166\" height=\"60\" title=\"Search Console\" class=\"wp-image-1554\" style=\"width: 166px;\" src=\"https:\/\/estreia.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/selo_search_console.jpg\" alt=\"Search Console\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Training\" class=\"wp-image-1555\" style=\"width: 167px;\" src=\"https:\/\/estreia.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/selo_training.jpg\" alt=\"Training\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"189\" height=\"60\" title=\"Multilingual\" class=\"wp-image-1556\" style=\"width: 189px;\" src=\"https:\/\/estreia.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/selo_linguas.jpg\" alt=\"Multilingual\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Results<\/strong>&nbsp;SIM\u2019s website generated dozens of contacts during its lifetime, through the contact and recruitment forms. It also appeared well placed in searches related with keywords relevant to their business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-default is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>During the design and maintenance of our website, ESTREIA always favored the creation of customer value, with positive and visible results from the first day.
