Challenge AFID has several services subject to user registration, such as daycare centers, senior residences and home support, disability rehabilitation, professional training courses, volunteering scholarships and job applications.
Faced with the COVID pandemic, AFID needed an online registration system that did not require the physical presence of users and employees. ESTREIA was then challenged to develop a web application that would facilitate registration management.
Solution ESTREIA developed a web application with the following characteristics:
- A public access area, for users to enroll in the various services.
- And a private back-office, for the AFID team to manage the registrations.
- User interface that favors good usability on PCs, tablets and mobile devices.
- Easy-to-understand forms, with field validation and filling tips.
- Registrations are saved in a database, and emailed to AFID.
- The back-office has user accounts with different access permissions, and allows to search, filter, order, edit, delete and change the status of registrations.
Results The registration portal allowed AFID to receive and process thousands of registrations for its services, and was especially useful during the COVID pandemic.
